The song was written by Ian Gomersall from Wetherby and performed/recorded during the first Covid lockdown by Jonathan Louth aka Johnny & the Box who lives in York.

The lyrics refer to a situation where things become difficult in a relationship but look forward to a brighter future for the people involved . One of the parties has struggled mentally more than the other.

The song is uplifting and forward looking and I feel that it encapsulates much of what we have experienced in our relationships during the past 12 months.
