Original Song

I completed this new arrangement of Amazing Grace just before the first Lockdown which sadly meant that due to restriction, it was not able to be performed by any choirs at all.

I took the decision to create a virtual debut performance and invited any interested singers to submit their recordings. The finished performance was a very special mix of professional and amateur singers, making it quite unique!

It is scored for SATB choir with piano accompaniment and is a brand new setting of the existing words with hints of the familiar tune along the way. I loved putting this together in the Summer months of 2020 and am grateful to everyone who took part.
