A song I wrote out of complete and utter boredom in lockdown. I wanted to write something that would be a good practice peace that challenged myself and some fellow musician friends with whom I’d bubbled as an attempt at self improvement for us all during lockdown. It then became clear during recording it had taken on an electric era Miles Davis or Soft Machine type direction and as it developed I had started to imagine it as an alternative soundtrack to some of my favourite films; Apocalypse Now! Or Crystal Voyager, as it both painted ‘jungle’ and ‘beach’ scenes in my mind- a fantasy a million miles away from this winter!
