This is a song written during lockdown, and performed by the Mouthful Virtual Chorus, featuring singers from Mouthful Voices, Sing Owt! and Wild Chorus community choirs, led by Dave Camlin. Singers in the choir contributed lyric ideas which Dave incorporated into the final song. The sentiments are about keeping the spirit of singing together alive, even when we haven’t been able to for so long. Singing together builds us into a community, and being able to maintain that community spirit through lockdown has been really important for everyone’s mental health.
