Beualah’s Boneyard is a made up of a group of Yorkshire musicians who have previously played together in many other line ups.
Lockdown meant looking of different ways of collaborating and the opportunity arose to work with Oxford based artist and lyricist Martin Beek – and Beualah’s Boneyard was born!
The Days aims to explore the contrasting emotions experienced during lockdown in rural Yorkshire; the enhanced awareness of our natural surroundings, the inertia of having all the time in the world and the yearning for contact with friends and neighbours.
The musicians all recorded their parts remotely and the song was mixed at the remote Stonegate Studio near Bentham in the Yorkshire Dales.
