This is the most recent song that I have written, mostly recorded on my phone. I have been writing a few solo songs over lock down, normally I would write and perform with a band. It is not so much about being in lockdown, but has a more hopeful feel. I work in a special school, which has not always been easy over the last year, neither for teachers or pupils, but the children always give you hope and show their resilience despite their difficulties. In some ways this song is about the promise and optimism of youth.
