This is a song about (and for) my sisters. It is about how much I have missed them during the lockdown period, obviously, but it is also a song of celebration about their love and their achievements. The reference to the “imaginary friend” in the chorus tries to capture the feeling of unreality about the current situation, the sense that living such relationships virtually risks making them abstract or insubstantial. The song gives me hope, but at the same time is one of melancholy.
