Al Shalliker is a singer-songwriter and musician from the city of Plymouth in England. The lead songwriter for Plymouth band Watershed, who were prolific live performers nationwide over a period of more than 20 years, Al is now producing music as a solo artist. His debut album, ‘Silver Linings’, due for release on 26th April 2021 features Plymouth Song, a reflection on his home town, the surrounding areas, the people and history.
Al was very active as a songwriter and musician from the early 90s through to about fifteen years ago when life started getting in the way. Al’s been working as a technical stage manager at Theatre Royal Plymouth and has increasingly found less time for music. However, being furloughed gave him the chance to set up a home studio and produce ‘Silver Linings’.
