Written in 2020, Human Touch is more of a mantra than a song; a dream of a future when hugging is allowed.
In early December, there was a brief time when up to six people could meet. The Frenchays took the opportunity to gather in Cumnor Village Hall, near Oxford. It was the first time I had heard the piece being sung, and I found it incredibly moving to hear my dear friends breathing life into it. We recorded the session, and made a video using still images from a zoom meeting.
