Holding on Hopefully by Broadhempston Community with Moor to Sea Music collective
Submitted by: Rachel T.
This song was written at the start of Lockdown No 3 by a number of people living in the small village of Broadhempston near Totnes, Devon. A call for collaborators was put out by Rachel Thame, a co-director of local community interest company Moor to Sea Collective, which is a group of musicians and makers working together to build more connected, supportive communities who champion for change and harmony through music.
Holding on Hopefully grew from group conversations, suggestions and ideas offered initially over facebook and whats app. This song has been a truly authentic process of co-creation. Lyrics and Music were designed and constructed collaboratively and digitally from our homes. Bandlab was used to record and assemble the individual musical contributions.
