This song was inspired by the stories of couples confined within their households during the lockdown, the strain that this put on their relationship and even the realisations that perhaps their relationship was only held together by them being apart for much of their time.

The song is written from the perspective of a person in a relationship or marriage, who, as a result of the lockdown, has realised that the relationship is falling apart, but is desperately trying to hold-on to it.
