I’ve been writing music since I was a child, influenced by various Artists and Individuals. My main musical influence stems from Tim Rice Oxley (Songwriter and Pianist for the band Keane). The way a chord progressions can be manipulated and used to emphasise/evoke certain emotions in something I’ve always found interesting.
I recently joined BIMM Birmingham where I’m studying music production & songwriting, to try to hoam in on my abilities, so I’m able to craft mine and others people’s work to a professional standard.
This song is very unusual, production & recording wise. I used techniques that the beatles used, making use of tape speed and elastic properties/where I’m able to manipulate audio as if I’m running it through a tape machine.
