Blood of Another Year

Original Song

I wrote this song for all those who’ve somehow managed to survive through times they thought might defeat them. The robin in our garden always seems a resilient, feisty creature, and it amazes me how the garden birds survive through the roughest of weathers. I imagined its red breast could be a symbol that it’s “bloodied but unbowed”.
