Also in Dark Times, Côr Gobaith

When our choir, Côr Gobaith, was locked-down by Covid-19 regulations it was a double-whammy: we couldn’t sing together and we couldn’t do our usual campaigning and fundraising out on the street. We’ve risen to the challenges, learning how to use Zoom conferencing to meet up and sing together in a different way, staging online events to raise money for campaigns… All good, but we thought we needed to really challenge ourselves, to kick against the constraints of Covid and give ourselves a collective purpose. This year, 2021, is our fifteenth anniversary and we wanted to celebrate. Strangely, the pandemic gave us the opportunity to learn new skills and creativities. Also in Dark Times is our first attempt at recording a song “together alone”.
