This is a song about longing….to be close again to those we love
My 3 grandsons are singing it and my Mum listened and watched it many times 3 days before she died in august 2020 aged 94. It made her smile to see them and hear them singing these words.
Of course it came from a deep desire to hug those we love when it wasn’t possible, but it also gives comfort to those who have lost someone.
