Written and recorded while under lockdown, The Way It Is reflects our hopes and fears at the time but also more generally about the world we have grown up in and will leave for future generations.
The three members of The PGs, all in our sixties now, feel deeply connected to our South London neighbourhood and also recognise our priviledge and responsibilities as citizens of a rich, Western nation.
Never before has the world provided such wealth, security and opportunity for people like us but, at the same time, we know that The Way It Is cannot be sustained for very much longer.
