I'm an organist at the churches in Bledlow, Saunderton and Horsenden on the Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire border. During lockdown I have being putting together their virtual services. This has been a huge community effort, and kept people "together" through months of not seeing each other. Every service has had two organ voluntaries, three hymns, and anthem, two readings, sermons, prayers and photos aplenty contributed by the choir, congregation, and vicars. Editing it all together has taken most of my Saturday nights through lockdown, but it's been worth it to see the community gel. This original hymn was written especially for lockdown, and is all about King David trying to find a place for himself in a world of conflict and turmoil.
