Nothing stays the Same

Written many years ago but I think appropriate in the current situation.

The lyrics are influenced by my interest in Theravadin Buddhism which emphasises that our problems often come from the inability to let go of the things to which we attach ,and the non-realisation that everything changes.

I once got caught up in the hub-bub of the crowd in a city, immediately after Christmas, and with a strong feeling of wanting to get out of it. Fortunately I had the realisation that I could change my attitude,and a smile came over my face. A lovely experience and lesson, knowing that an attitude doesn’t have to be fixed, but is something we can all change.
