Heavenly Father, Bon Iver

I struggled to think of a song that has been especially poignant for me over the last year as I’ve tried to keep variety in what I’m listening to, given the lack of variety available in our lives. But reflecting on the last year I feel that this performance of Heavenly Father by Bon Iver really resonates. It’s incredibly intimate and it feels like the singers are the only people in the room. It’s not until the song ends that you realise there’s a full audience listening intently. It reflects where we are now, with everyone in their own bubble trying to make the best of it and the rest of the world feeling a million miles away.
