It makes me feel hopeful, energised and cheerful no matter how dark or long the day seems. Sometimes it’s hard to get up and face the day. The news can drag you down and it’s all too easy to waste life on the internet scrolling without purpose. You can’t help but sing and dance along. Friends in our choir did a great lip sync to this song and it’s stuck with me. We’re all still standing, we’re still here, let’s make the most of it, dance and sing while we can, even if it’s just bedroom karaoke.
