Big City Lights (Song For Manchester)

Submitted by: Marie K.

Original Song

I wrote this song in light of tragic events in Manchester, for charity. It’s a message of resilience and unity, and dare I say defiance. A local singer Andy Lee has put demo/guide vocals to it and two other people have helped including my keyboard player friend Ernest Hall who is registered blind. and guitarist Karl McGee. All free of charge. I paid for the backing track. Guitar and brass have been overlaid by Andy. I’m not a vocalist or a musician. It needs vocalists and possibly anyone who can help to get it recorded. There are errors in these vocals, grammatical, pronunciation, and some of the notes are not correct, particularly in the chorus, and the word ‘cos’ should not be in the chorus. Can anybody help to finish it and raise money?
